What is a Banner Stand?

A banner stand is an attractive piece of hardware used to mount and display a banner exhibit, display or advertisement by holding the banner so that it can be effectively positioned for best effect.

There are different kinds of Banner Stands. 

– Fixed Base Banner Stands come in several varieties and types. There are X-base stands where an “X” shaped metal or wooden frame holds the banner using grommets in the banner corners. There are decorative pedestal frame banner stands for longer-term display situations. There are even water-base stands. The stands use a hard plastic. You simply fill the base with water. Then fits the banner post into the middle section. The water is the weight you need to hold the banner still. There are also hanging banner stands. These mount the banner in snap rails and hang by decorative chain or wire from above.

– Retractable Banner Stands are spring-loaded, decorative bases into which a banner can be rolled up and placed.  The banner is deployed by pulling it out of the base against the spring and fixing it into place with a mounting bar.  Re-stow the banner by removing the bar and recoiling the banner into the base.  Retractable Banner Stands are ideal for the traveling display, with a quick and easy setup and take down. Plus, the whole ensemble fits into an easy-to-carry bag.
