Whish Beauty is a Scottsdale cosmetics company specializing in naturally-based skin care and beauty products. In preparation for an upcoming trade show event at the Phoenix Convention Center, Whish contacted Blue Chip Signworks to create the new centerpiece of their display, an 8′ wide by 10′ edge lit fabric trade show display wall. The display is constructed of a light weight, extruded aluminum frame which breaks down into sections for easier transport and storage. The individual pieces are fastened together at the show site using edge and corner connector pieces. All tools required for assembly and take down are provided. The bottom section of the frame is drilled for the feet which help provide additional stability to the rather tall display.
The illumination comes from a strip of bright white LEDs mounted along the perimeter of the frame. With the edge lit arrangement, hot spots in back-lighting are avoided while still providing bright vivid colors from the fabric display. A small power pack is provided to source the power required for LED illumination.
The Whish Beauty display is a double-sided display with different graphics front and back. The graphic itself is attached to the frame with a press in silicon bead sown into the edge of the fabric. The entire display sets up quickly. It is a very eye catching trade show display that is all but guaranteed to stand out even in a crowded display hall.
